North Haven resident Rachael Hurwitz accepted into Connecticut College prestigious certificate program

Rachael Hurwitz, a junior at Connecticut College, was recently accepted into the Toor Cummings Center for International Studies and the Liberal Arts (CISLA) certificate program. Hurwitz, a 2007 graduate of North Haven High School, is the daughter of Laura and Samuel Hurwitz of North Haven.

CISLA is an academically challenging program that promotes global thinking across academic disciplines. CISLA allows students to internationalize and enhance their major with intensive language study and a funded internship abroad, providing them with real-world experience and the skills and knowledge to help them become leaders in their fields.
