North Haven resident Rachael Hurwitz studies away in Spain

Rachael Hurwitz, a junior at Connecticut College, is currently studying away at IES Barcelona in Spain.

Hurwitz is the daughter of Samuel and Laura Hurwitz of North Haven.

More than half of all Connecticut College students study abroad, either through the college’s own program, or through one of dozens of approved study abroad programs. In 2009, the college won the 2009 Senator Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization for outstanding and innovative efforts in campus internationalization.
